Today, and for over 2 centuries, there is a group of people who call themselves Jews, but they are NOT the descendants or of the bloodline of Israel, who was Jacob, the son of Isaac, who was the son of Abraham. These people who call themselves Jews today are actually CONVERTS. They adopted the Judean religion for their own purposes. Millions of these people are actually descendants of Europeans who lived in the old land of Khazaria. You can go here and here, and here. to learn about these people and how they adopted the Jewish religion to save themselves from attacks by Muslims on one side of them, and Christians on the other.
You cannot convert your bloodline! You belong to the bloodline of your birth parents, who are the bloodline of their descendants centuries back. YOU belong to THAT bloodline, whether you like it or not. Too bad if you do not like it.
The following is my commentary and my commentary only and my opinion only. It is up to the reader to come up with THEIR OWN opinion. Of course, all is subjective.
THIS all starts in Genesis 25: 20 when Isaac, the son of Abraham, took a wife named Rebekah, who is the daughter of Bethuel, a Syrian, and who is the sister of a man named Leban.
Two nations are born starting in verse 22. ONE is to be STRONGER than the other, and the elder is to serve the younger. Take note of that because, as in most societies, the elder is always known as the elder.
Here in Chapter 26, we learn that Isaac is told by God to move to some undisclosed location because there was a famine going on, but not to go to Egypt. Then God said that He would bless him and his seed and that He, God, would give Isaac ALL these countries and that He, God, would swear unto Abraham. Boy, I bet Esau would wish he had kept his birthright now because he would inherit these countries also when Isaac died. Good grief. Poor guy. But NO, Jacob would NOW inherit these countries and become very powerful in time, but FIRST we have to go through the story here.
From here on, we can just read on till the next important points. So you can read your own Bible to the next point in Chapter 27.
Now we get to the next point in Chapter 27. This is where Isaac is getting old and approaching death, so he has his favorite son, Esau, go deer hunting for his favorite meat to eat in his last days. So Esau goes hunting, and while he is hunting, his wife Rebekah hears about this. She devises a plan to deceive her husband, Isaac, by telling the feeble son named Jacob, who is apparently a mama's boy, to go and get two kid goats, and either she kills and butchers them or Jacob kills and butchers them. I am guessing Mommy did. I mean, my mom was raised to do these things, why not Rebekah? In verse 30 you will see not long after Isaac had given Jacob his riches and lands, Esau showed up from his hunting and made a delicious dish of venison for his father and offered it to him so his father would bless he, the RIGHTFULL hare to the family fortunes only to find out his father had given it to Jacob under false pretences. Isaac was confused by what was happening.
In verse 34, we see Esau pretty saddened by what happened. he was grieved. Jacob had falsely gained, through both his mother's actions and his own actions, the riches that rightfully should have gone to Esau. NOW Esau as per at the beginning of the story of their birth, and as God told Rebekah that the elder would serve the younger son.
By Jacob being of a certain race, he set the precedent of how these people were very conniving to this day. All you have to do is look at them in cities where they riot if they do not get their way. Look at India and Pakistan where scam artists work out to scam innocent unaware elderly people out of their money by making them sign up for this or make them give money for something they are told they did wrong or their computer is infected with a virus or they did not pay their taxes, on and on. These people are criminals. They have conniving minds and are full of demons.
Chapter 28: Isaac tells Jacob to go to Paddan-aram to the house of Bethuel, his mother’s father, and from there take a wife from the daughters of Laban, your mother’s brother. Hmmmmm. ??
NOW we continue to Chapter 29 verse 4. THIS is where Jacob starts looking for Laban, his mother's brother, to hit him up about one of his daughters. Read on to verse 16, where I continue with my commentary on this story.
Now starting with verse 16, Jacob wheels and deals for the favor of one of the daughters of Laban. One of the daughters, Leah, was not so good-looking, and the other, Rachel, was. Jacob wanted Rachel, of course, and said he would work for seven years to earn her from her father Laban. That’s a deal, said Laban, so Jacob worked for Laban for seven years and asked Laban for Rachel.
Jacob had a deal with Laban to work for seven years for Rachel, so he did, and after working for seven years, he was given Leah along with her handmaiden. WHAT?? WHY?? Read on below.
It is a tradition in this nation that the eldest daughter is to be wed BEFORE the younger. So Ladan told Jacob to work for him for ANOTHER seven years, and Ladan then gave Rachel to Jacob. NOW Jacob has TWO WIVES?? Laban also gave Rachel a handmaid.
As you can see, Jacob was not attracted to Leah, and this angered God, so God allowed her to conceive, and she bore a son to Jacob and named him Reuben. He will be the first, of course, of the twelve tribes. She then had another son and named him Simeon. Then she had a third son and named him Levi.
Sooo, anyway by and by, Rachel’s maid Bilhah did have a son from Jacob, and Rachel claimed this son as hers and named him Dan.
So, continuing here in verse 11, that Leah’s maid Zilpah bore a son and named him Gad, and she was not done yet!! Sh,e Zilpah, bore ANOTHER son and named him Asher.

Well, as we can see in verse 17, she did conceive and had another son for Jacob and named him Issachar
Leah was not done yet. Those mandrakes must really work! She bore another son and named him Zebulun. She then had another child, and this time it was a girl, and named her Dinah.
A storm of curiosity and controversy has erupted after Mel Gibson suggested that the Ethiopian Bible contains vivid descriptions of Jesus that differ from the imagery many have grown up with. Referencing ancient texts preserved within Ethiopia’s long-standing Christian tradition, Gibson hinted at details that he believes have been overlooked or misunderstood outside specialized scholarly circles. Historians note that the Ethiopian biblical canon includes unique books and linguistic nuances shaped by centuries of transmission in Ge’ez, yet the renewed spotlight has ignited debate across religious communities and academic forums alike. Are these differences a matter of translation, cultural context, or theological emphasis? While experts caution against sensational interpretations without careful study, the conversation has already gained momentum, raising profound questions about how sacred texts are preserved, interpreted, and presented to the world. Whatever the ultimate conclusion, interest in these ancient manuscripts is surging...."
